- The role location is Melbourne or Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand customer requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate and support software across the full development lifecycle.
- Own features and services from inception through production support.
- Contribute to automation that improves operational efficiency, reliability and system performance.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with teammates to deliver customer value.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Help maintain highly available and resilient digital platforms serving millions of customers.
What You Will Bring
- Experience developing software using Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or comparable languages.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Cassandra.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills focused on service reliability and customer outcomes.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, quality assurance and solution design principles.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team culture.
- Experience in back-end, front-end, infrastructure, systems analysis, delivery engineering or service operations is highly regarded.
