Software Engineer III

Role overview

Workplace

• Remote position; candidates must live within approximately 70 miles of the Allen, Texas office.
• An onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required to verify identity.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical design and prototyping, software development, and bug verification and resolution.
• Perform system analysis and programming, including research and delivery of software into production.
• Support new and existing applications from code delivery through retirement.
• Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Use coding standards and consider how changes affect users and internal teams.
• Collaborate with QA and participate in cross-team projects and discussions.
• Manage critical tasks with minimal assistance and communicate scope, size, and timelines.
• Follow and help define and document departmental and corporate standards.
• Plan unit and integration tests for reliability, security, and performance; debug and resolve issues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing responsive web applications and integrating UI applications with RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Preferred experience

• Java, SQL, and C# experience is a plus.
• Ionic or hybrid/mobile application development experience is a plus.
• Financial services industry knowledge is a plus.

Compensation

• Salary range is $92,350–$130,000 per year, determined by location and experience.
