Global Payments is hiring a Software Engineer II (.NET Developer) for its Worldpay Alternatives Payments team.
The role focuses on developing, enhancing, supporting, and securing commercially delivered software applications.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products.
- Define requirements with product owners and users and participate in software design meetings.
- Write technical specifications, application code, tests, debugging fixes, and maintenance documentation.
- Apply code quality, SQL review, code review, merge accountability, and workflow refactoring practices.
- Address security compliance using Checkmarx, SonarQube, Black Duck, and related tools.
- Support and guide junior engineers and participate in team ceremonies and problem-solving activities.
Requirements
- Bring 3–6 years of technical experience with .NET technologies.
- Use .NET, SQL, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, DevOps, GitHub, frontend UI, SOAP, and unit testing.
- Work with CI/CD, OpenShift, Splunk, AWS, and related .NET tools and technologies.
- Review code performance, resolve security vulnerabilities, and technically guide the team.
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
