Software Engineer Senior role on the Galaxy team, focused on software development.
The position is described as 100% developer work and involves normal business hours with some overlap with UK business hours.
What you’ll own
- Develop high-quality code for new features and ensure proper test coverage.
- Develop an independent software capability within a specified timeframe, following industry best practices.
- Work hands-on with Java and learn and apply evolving principles and practices.
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on Java experience, including Java 8 or later; Java 17 and Java 21 are also listed.
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot or the Spring Framework, JUnit, and REST APIs.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, upskill on modern technologies, and interpret technical specifications and documentation.
Additional skills
- SAFe, cloud technology, Terraform, and Jenkins CI/CD are listed as good-to-have knowledge.
- AngularJS, React.js, or Kotlin are listed as good-to-have skills.
- Fintech or payments domain experience is a bonus.
