Software Engineer – ECM role focused on supporting enterprise content management and related applications.
The listed experience areas include banking or financial services and business-critical application production support.
Required experience and knowledge
- 3–5 years of production support experience in banking or financial services.
- Experience supporting collateral management, lending, credit risk, or regulatory reporting applications.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in a 24×7 environment.
- Knowledge of ETL, data integration, data reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on Oracle and SQL Server experience, including SQL/PLSQL development and troubleshooting.
- Experience with API integrations, REST/SOAP services, SFTP transfers, Azure-hosted applications, and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of credit origination and collateral management processes and collateral lifecycle.
- Experience with application monitoring, incident management, and batch-processing support.
- Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem, change, and release management.
Technologies and tools
- Preferred technology stack lists Oracle SQL/PLSQL, SQL Server, ETL, Python, GitHub, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Windows Servers/IIS, and Postman.
- Listed tools and platforms include SSMS, PL/SQL, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Postman.
Certifications
- Microsoft Azure Cloud certification is described as good to have.
- SQL/PLSQL certification and relevant API or technology certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for business-critical banking or financial-services applications.
- Support ETL processes, data integration, data reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and troubleshoot SQL/PLSQL and support Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Support API integrations, REST/SOAP services, and SFTP-based file transfers.
- Support applications hosted on Microsoft Azure and in hybrid environments.
- Monitor applications and support incidents and batch processing in a 24×7 environment.
- Support applications and processes related to credit origination, collateral management, lending, credit risk, or regulatory reporting.
