Role overview

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of reference and mentor contributors through code review and architectural direction.
• Own delivery across concurrent engagements from requirements clarification through deployment.
• Use AI-assisted development practices, including prompt design, agent workflows, multi-file refactors, and disciplined human review.
• Work in Agile teams and complete committed backlogs, or operate semi-autonomously on smaller engagements.
• Implement user stories and participate in estimation, sprint planning, software lifecycle work, testing, research, deployment, and documentation.
• Contribute to front-end and back-end architecture decisions, communicate risks and trade-offs, and maintain source-control and documentation discipline.

Required experience and skills

• At least 6 years on development teams, with capability across front-end and back-end stacks.
• Experience mentoring developers and acting as the technical reference for a small team.
• In-depth C#/.NET (current LTS) and ASP.NET services knowledge; strong GraphQL API experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript proficiency; MongoDB experience, including MongoDB Atlas.
• Regular use of Azure DevOps and GitHub; knowledge of design patterns and clean architecture.
• Current AI coding-assistant experience, including agent workflows, multi-file refactors, and human review of generated code.
• Strong written and verbal communication, Agile and Kanban experience, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education, training, and work experience.

Preferred and additional experience

• Working familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Storage Accounts, B2C, Key Vault, API Services, and Functions is preferred.
• End-to-end solution design, collaboration with data engineers, framework evaluation, software quality assurance, and consensus building are preferred.
• Google Cloud familiarity and adapting practices for AI-augmented teams are assets.

Office and hours

• Office location is Riyadh.
• Working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
