Frontend Developer & Designer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver interaction and visual design, prototyping, design QA, and handoff.
• Extend existing design patterns consistently and create artifacts at the pace required by AI-augmented development.
• Use AI tools in design and prototyping, and contribute component-level UI and design-system work in React and TypeScript.
• Evolve design-system patterns for reliable use by developers and AI tools.
• Partner with product management on acceptance criteria, user needs, and design quality in shipped products.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs, collaborate across the team, and maintain disciplined shared files, version control, and documentation.

Required experience

• At least 8 years of professional design experience, including substantial recent shipped digital product work.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design, information architecture, and visual craft.
• Strong Figma proficiency; equivalent Adobe XD depth is accepted with ability to transition to Figma.
• Current hands-on AI design and prototyping experience, supported by concrete work examples.
• Demonstrable progression into React and TypeScript development, evidenced by code or shipped UI.
• Experience maintaining or contributing to design systems and working in Agile teams with engineering and product management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education, training, and work experience.

Preferred experience

• Production React and/or Angular UI contributions using TypeScript are preferred.
• Experience documenting design tokens and components for AI tools, or working with AI-augmented development teams, is preferred.

Office and hours

• Office location is Riyadh.
• Working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
