Social Media Manager

Role purpose

Core responsibilities

• Manage content ideation, calendars, scripts, filming, editing, copywriting, publishing, and optimization.
• Create short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms; appear on camera when required.
• Film independently with mobile or camera equipment, maintaining strong framing, lighting, composition, and brand presentation.
• Edit reels, interviews, project content, event coverage, and fast-turnaround social assets.
• Write English copy, captions, hooks, and scripts; turn brand and business priorities into social-first content.
• Identify trends, manage scheduling and community engagement, and maintain channel hygiene.
• Track reach and engagement, report on content performance, and identify opportunities to improve.

Must-have profile

• At least 2–3 years of relevant social media or content experience in Dubai or the UAE.
• Very high written and spoken English proficiency with strong copywriting ability.
• Demonstrable end-to-end independent content creation experience.
• Strong short-form video editing skills and confidence with CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools.
• Comfort filming, directing simple shoots, and appearing on camera when needed.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn content formats, audience behavior, and platform practices.
• Portfolio or social examples showing content personally created, filmed, edited, or written.

Preferred background

• Creative, advertising, or integrated marketing agency experience is preferred.
• Hospitality or real estate brand experience is advantageous.
• Arabic and/or French language capability is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the UAE market, Dubai culture, and premium brand communication is preferred.
