Job Summary:

McCoin is looking for a creative and digitally savvy Social Media Admin Intern to help manage and grow our online presence across key platforms. As we approach our full-scale launch, this role plays a vital part in building community, driving engagement, and amplifying the McCoin brand within the Web3 and fintech ecosystem. You will gain real-world experience running social media accounts for a crypto startup in one of the world's most dynamic financial hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Scheduling & Publishing

• Schedule and publish daily/weekly content across Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Telegram.
• Maintain and update the social media content calendar in coordination with the Marketing Executive.
• Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.

Community Engagement

• Monitor comments, mentions, and DMs across all platforms and respond in a timely manner.
• Foster a positive and active community around McCoin's mission and products.
• Support the execution of AMAs, polls, giveaways, and other interactive community events.

Content Creation Support

• Draft engaging captions, short-form copy, and hashtag strategies for social posts.
• Collaborate with the design team to request and review visual content for social channels.
• Repurpose long-form content (blogs, press releases) into digestible social media formats.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance metrics including impressions, reach, engagement rate, and follower growth.
• Compile weekly and monthly social media performance reports.
• Recommend improvements to content and posting strategy based on data insights.

Trend Monitoring

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in crypto Twitter, Web3 communities, and fintech social media.
• Identify trending topics and hashtags relevant to McCoin and propose timely content ideas.
• Monitor competitor social channels and report key observations to the team.

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts (personal, academic, or professional) is preferred.

Interest in or knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, or Web3 culture is a strong plus.

Skills & Tools

• Proficiency with major social media platforms: Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later is an advantage.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
• Familiarity with social media analytics dashboards (Meta Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Creative storyteller with a passion for digital content and community building.
• Excellent written English with a natural, engaging social media voice.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple platforms and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proactive self-starter who keeps up with trends and brings fresh ideas to the team.

Compensations and Benefits:

• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays from 9AM to 5PM
• Duration: 3-6 months (with potential for full-time conversion based on performance)
• Stipend: To be discussed
