Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Education, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Professional License from the relevant educational or regulatory authority (e.g., Ministry of Education, Department of Education and Knowledge, or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and support for students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development.
- Monitor student welfare, attendance, and behavior, and support at-risk students.
- Implement safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Deliver awareness programs on well-being, mental health, and life skills.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies to support student success.
- Maintain confidential records and contribute to student welfare initiatives.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school counseling, social work, or student support services.
Skills
- Counseling and communication skills.
- Case management and report writing.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Student welfare and safeguarding knowledge.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
