Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical HVAC lessons.
- Teach core areas including refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and system maintenance.
- Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Conduct workplace (on-the-job) assessments, including site visits to evaluate learner competence in real working environments.
- Liaise with employers and supervisors to monitor learner performance and progress.
- Review workplace evidence such as job logs, portfolios, and practical tasks to ensure competency standards are met.
- Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to ensure achievement.
- Maintain accurate assessment and progress records in line with quality assurance requirements.
- Promote safe working practices in both training and workplace settings.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
Essential
- Minimum of a degree qualification Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
- Strong hands-on industry experience in HVAC systems
- Relevant HVAC certifications
- Passion for teaching and developing learners
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
