Key responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including L2/L3 escalations; perform incident analysis, threat detection, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security testing, and web application security testing.
- Use Microsoft Security Suite and Microsoft Defender; analyze alerts, logs, and indicators of compromise.
- Support threat hunting, incident containment, and recovery; collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams.
Required qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in SOC operations, incident response, and cybersecurity.
- Strong hands-on L2/L3 incident handling and response experience.
- Practical penetration testing and vulnerability assessment experience, plus web application security testing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Security solutions, particularly Microsoft Defender.
Preferred certifications
- OSCP and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are listed as preferred certifications.
