Network Security Engineer

Contract –

We are looking for a

with strong hands-on experience in

firewall and security operations within the Telecom domain

.

The role will focus on managing network security infrastructure, SD-WAN, customer protection, core network services, and cloud security.

• Manage and operate

Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls

, including firewall rules, policies, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident remediation.

• Administer security infrastructure including

.

• Support and optimize

, including routing, traffic steering, application prioritization, secure connectivity, and hybrid cloud integration.

• Support

enterprise/customer infrastructure protection

and resolve network security incidents.

• Manage core services including

DNS, proxy, authentication, and mail relay

, ensuring availability, security, and reliability.

• Support

infrastructure and application delivery services.

• Support

Azure network security

, including Azure Firewall, NSGs, VNets, Application Gateway/WAF, Load Balancer, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.

• Perform infrastructure health checks, monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and capacity management.
• Coordinate with

NOC/SOC, Network, Cloud, and IT teams

to resolve incidents and maintain service availability.

• 4–6 years

of relevant network security operations experience.

• Telecom domain experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with:
• FortiGate
• FortiAuthenticator
• FortiMail
• FortiWeb
• Fortinet/Huawei SD-WAN
• Firewalls, switches, and load balancers
• Experience with

enterprise/customer network protection

.

• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.

Candidates must have relevant certifications clearly mentioned on their CV:

• Fortinet NSE 4–7

or applicable current equivalent

• Azure:

Python scripting

is an added advantage.
