Core responsibilities
- Direct and supervise on-site installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and specialized piping systems.
- Manage daily and weekly schedules to meet project milestones.
- Inspect delivered mechanical materials and equipment against approved submittals and track site quantities.
- Review shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and project specifications; identify design conflicts early.
- Conduct and document pressure tests, duct-leakage tests, and equipment commissioning with QA/QC inspectors and clients.
- Enforce the project HSE plan and correct unsafe work practices immediately.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid understanding of HVAC, fire-fighting, and plumbing systems, plus basic structural and civil interfaces.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, project management charts, and specialized engineering software readouts.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments on active construction zones.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 3,700–11,000 per month.
