Role overview
Seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for electrical and low-current systems design.
Key responsibilities
- Design complete electrical systems for projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop drawings, specifications, and calculations for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and related systems.
- Design and integrate fire alarm, CCTV, access control, data/telecom, and public address systems.
- Ensure designs adhere to applicable local and international codes and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients to meet requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct technical reviews and value engineering to optimize design solutions.
Qualifications and requirements
- Grade-A status is mandatory; non-Grade-A applicants will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of electrical design experience.
- Proven ability to design electrical systems and Low Current Systems (LCS).
- Familiarity with local and international codes and standards, including NEC, IEC, and NFPA.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or DIALux.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
