Role and location

Site Manager for plant maintenance covering 132/220 kV switchyards and HT/LT electrical distribution systems.

One vacancy; location stated as Tata Motor Ltd, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

Term of employment is described as a Siemens Direct Contract.

Education and experience

  • BE/B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and a supervisor license are mandatory.
  • Requires 8–12 years of relevant experience.
  • Target industry is automotive or similar process-industry maintenance.

Technical experience

  • Experience with 132/220 kV switchyard operation and maintenance and HT/LT electrical distribution.
  • Experience maintaining MV switchgear: ABB HPA24, Siemens 3AH3/3AH5, and Schneider LV switchgear.
  • Knowledge of numerical relays; DIGSI software knowledge is desirable.
  • Knowledge of electrical installation, repair, maintenance, protection, metering, measurement, standards, codes, and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of testing cables, switchgear, transformers, and other power-distribution components.

Responsibilities

  • Apply EHS rules and procedures relevant to service projects and services business.
  • Prepare MIS reports for routine maintenance, complaint management, material management, and breakdown analysis.
  • Plan and monitor daily maintenance activities and site KPIs.
  • Map team members’ skills and maintain 5S in the work area.
