Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage techno-commercial proposals for intercompany opportunities across local Siemens entities and Channel Business .
  • Review customer specifications, SLDs, protection requirements, and project documentation to develop compliant solutions.
  • Select and configure suitable Protection & Automation products, including numerical relays, RTUs, FRTUs, and associated systems.
  • Coordinate with Siemens regional companies, headquarters, factories, and execution teams during bid and order execution phases.
  • Develop costing, pricing strategies, and approval documentation to support profitable business growth.
  • Prepare technical comparisons and competitive assessments to strengthen bid positioning.
  • Drive timely submission of quotations, technical clarifications, and commercial responses.
  • Support business planning, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management for international projects.
  • Build strong relationships with internal Siemens stakeholders and ensure high responsiveness to intercompany customer needs.
  • Take ownership of proposal quality, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Protection & Automation solutions, proposal engineering, or technical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of numerical relays, protection applications, RTUs/FRTUs, IEC 61850, and utility automation systems.
  • Proven experience in techno-commercial proposal preparation, costing, tender management, and bid coordination.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders, factories, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and stakeholder management capability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
