Overview
- Lead and supervise a crew of erection workers, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion on-site.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to accurately guide the installation of structural components.
- Oversee the safe operation of lifting equipment, such as cranes and hoists, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
- Supervise daily structural steel erection activities.
- Coordinate installation of columns, beams, trusses, bracings, staircases, handrails, and miscellaneous steel works.
- Allocate work to erectors, riggers, welders, and helpers.
- Monitor site productivity and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Coordinate crane operations, rigging, and lifting activities.
- Ensure erection works comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC, and Safety teams.
- Monitor material availability and site equipment utilization.
- Report daily progress, manpower status, and site issues.
