As a
Site Engineer
, you will be responsible for supervising structural steel erection activities, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
2 Positions
- 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor structural steel fabrication, erection, and installation activities at project sites.
- Ensure all site work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical documents before execution.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality approvals with QA/QC and client representatives.
- Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones efficiently.
- Identify technical issues, site challenges, and construction risks, and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, safe work practices, and company procedures throughout project execution.
- 🔹 Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum
- 5–8 years
- of experience in structural steel erection and site execution.
- Proven experience managing structural steel construction projects on-site.
- GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of international construction standards and project execution practices.
- 🔹 Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of structural steel erection methodologies, fabrication, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, fabrication, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent understanding of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and construction standards.
- Strong leadership, team management, and site coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting project deadlines.
- Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
