Site Engineer - Fitout

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site execution of interior fit-out works
• Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and authority standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth site operations
• Monitor progress of works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, painting, and MEP coordination
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues on site in coordination with the Project Manager and consultants
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination between different trades to avoid delays and clashes
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards
• Track project progress and provide regular updates, reports, and site documentation
• Manage material deliveries, inspections, and site requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations on site
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project handover documentation
• Ensure timely completion of works and closure of site snags

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good coordination, communication, and site management skills
• Familiarity with HSE standards and site safety practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD
