Site Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on-site periodic preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot 400/220/132 kV power transformers, breakers, CTs, PTs, control panels, relays, ACDBs, SCADA, batteries, and battery chargers.
• Manage site and contractor manpower, customer KPIs, and customer requirements.
• Follow EHS guidelines, safety standards, PTW, and LOTO processes; prepare EHS documents.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in testing, commissioning, or maintenance of EHV substation equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a responsible plant maintenance position.
• Very good technical knowledge of AIS/GIS substation configurations.

Skills and knowledge

• Knowledge of substation operations and maintenance, customer handling, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage site and contractor manpower and meet customer requirements.
