Role overview

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects.

Deliver projects safely, profitably, and on time while meeting customer, contractual, quality, and EHS requirements.

Site delivery and maintenance

  • Plan and execute on-site preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot 400/220/132 kV transformers, breakers, CTs, PTs, control panels, relays, ACDBs, SCADA, batteries, and battery chargers.
  • Manage site and contractor manpower and meet customer KPIs and requirements.
  • Follow EHS and industry safety standards, including PTW and LOTO, and prepare EHS documents.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning or maintenance of EHV substation equipment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a responsible plant-maintenance position.
  • Very good technical knowledge of AIS/GIS substation configurations; knowledge of substation operations, maintenance, customer handling, and electrical troubleshooting.

Additional skills

  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
