Shipping Coordinator at AGC General Trading LLC

• As a shipping coordinator your responsibilities:
• · To get quotations from forwarders
• · Coordinate and follow up with various shipping forwarders and liners.
• · Coordinate effectively with port operations staff to ensure smooth delivery of services and handling of vessel operations.
• · Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments on a daily basis (ON EXCEL)
• · Ensure timely, accurate, and effective provision and management of services & supplies to the vessels as required by the vessel.
• · Communicate with principals effectively, providing timely and accurate reports to assist in future voyage planning.
• · Generate Shipping / Commercial Invoice / Packing list / Dispatch Note / Delivery advice / Certificate of origin/ Bill of Lading.
• · Coordinate with Courier / Freight forwarder the status of the shipments and update the receiver contact person.
• · Coordinate with Finance as to the LC/CAD-based documents and payments to the carriers
• · Maintain all communications in a dedicated Outlook folder, with all relevant documents attached and saved in an operational system.
• · Keep a thorough record of shipment information and documentation.
• · Prepare shipping quotes for customers.
• · Other duties are requested or delegated by the manager to ensure the company’s service levels are maintained.
• · Coordinate the export documents.
• · Follow up with the suppliers for their Documents.
• · Communicate with clients and shippers and resolve any complaints.
• ***Shipping Coordinator Requirements:***
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft office, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Deep knowledge and skills in shipping.
• Flexible working hours.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Degree or High School Diploma required

• UAE Driving License

• ***NOTE:***

• Only 3,000AED to 4,000AED is available as a starting wage package. If you agree to the terms, please apply.
• The applicant must have a minimum experience of 4 years as a shipping coordinator.
• Applicants inside the UAE only will be considered.

Salary

• AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
• Performance Bonus Annually included
