Job Title: Shipping and Clearance Coordinator

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Shipping and Clearance Coordinator to support our fruit and vegetable import operations by ensuring timely follow-up on purchase orders, shipment documentation, and pipeline visibility.

The role will involve close coordination with international suppliers to

follow up on pending POs,

track shipment progress,

collect required shipping documents, and

maintain an organized Excel tracker covering all incoming shipments.

The objective is to ensure clear visibility of what is in the pipeline and support smooth customs clearance and internal planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up with suppliers on pending purchase orders and shipment readiness
• Track open POs from confirmation to dispatch
• Collect and verify shipping documents required for import and clearance
• Maintain an accurate Excel file with full shipment and document status
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and clearance teams
• Highlight delays, missing documents, and shipment issues in a timely manner
• Keep shipment records and supporting documents well organized

Documents to follow up may include:

• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Certificate of Origin
• Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
• Phytosanitary Certificate
• Health Certificate
• Other import-related documents as required

Requirements:

• Experience in shipping, import coordination, logistics, or clearance
• Preferably from fruit and vegetable, food trading, FMCG, or import/export background
• Strong Excel skills and ability to maintain trackers and reports
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments

• Able to work closely with suppliers and internal teams
• Capable of maintaining clear shipment visibility and supporting timely clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED4,500.00 per month
