Shipper/Receiver (Evening Shift)

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all loads are counted and accurately shipped
- Load trucks in a safe and orderly manner according to route, ensuring load is properly secured and on schedule
- Ensure orders are received according to Standard Operating procedures.
- Ensure orders are picked and palletized according to customer requirements.
- Ensure excellent knowledge of all products (packaging skids, etc.)
- Ensure all paperwork is shipping/receiving filled out correctly and incompliance with corporate procedures
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Must be able to read and understand customer orders
- Heavy lifting is a requirement
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Must be able to keep up with line pace
- Operate a forklift and power jack and RF gun- (training will be provided)
Working Conditions:
Evening Shift: 2:30pm - 11 pm. Monday to Friday
Overtime as required.
Exposure to wet/cold conditions – potential for ice and slippery working conditions.
Exposure to excessive noise.
Physically demanding – required long periods of walking/standing.
Required to do heavy lifting throughout the day.
Hairnet, clean smock, hearing protection, liner gloves and rubber gloves will be provided by the Company.
Steel-toe footwear to be supplied by employee.
Warm clothing required.
