Role Overview
Guardian Fire & Safety is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer – Fire Protection Systems to support our expanding maintenance operations across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
The role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring system reliability, compliance with standards, and delivering high-quality service across multiple fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Fire & Life Safety AMC contracts in line with service level agreements
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across sites
- Conduct inspection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification of fire protection systems
- Ensure compliance with ADCD regulations, NFPA standards, and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code
- Lead and support site technicians to achieve performance, quality, and response time targets
- Prepare technical reports, inspection documentation, quotations, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Attend emergency call-outs and ensure timely restoration of critical systems.
- Identify system improvement opportunities, upgrades, and additional service requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Building Services, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Protection Systems maintenance or service operations
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Suppression, Emergency Lighting, and Central Battery Systems
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Good understanding of ADCD requirements and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code
- Strong communication, reporting, and client coordination skills
