Coordinate service delivery for BEEAH Abu Dhabi and supervise fleet team members by organising workloads, allocating work, and monitoring performance.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure vehicle availability for waste collection and related activities, and dispatch vehicles to complete tasks on time.
- Check driver attendance at shift start and end; update system records and ensure manifests and vehicle checklists are maintained.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, insured, accident-free, and covered by required government road permits.
- Coordinate breakdowns and accidents with the workshop; reroute or arrange replacement vehicles to avoid missed collection.
- Confirm drivers are qualified and fit for assigned vehicles, and follow HSE procedures.
- Maintain fleet and driver data, reports, daily dispatch maps, and master sheets; report progress and problems to the line superior.
- Arrange daily vehicle washing and greasing and report traffic fines with user details.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports as required.
Qualifications and experience
- High school, degree, or diploma in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in service delivery, fleet dispatching, or transport coordination.
- UAE waste-management industry experience is an added advantage.
Skills
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu are pluses.
- Knowledge of waste management, fleet inspection and control, worksite safety and first aid, Abu Dhabi traffic laws and regulations, and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to interact and deal with drivers and unskilled workers.
