Role overview

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests and correspondence, responding promptly and confirming or declining according to the Availability, Rates & Inventory strategy.
• Handle telephone sales and take reservations for food and beverage outlets.
• Match room types to guest needs by knowing layouts, features, benefits, and amenities.
• Explain room rates and offers, communicate their value, and promote hotel facilities and services.
• Stay informed about hotel product changes and developments.
• Work with other departments to meet customer needs while maintaining service quality and team spirit.

What the role requires

• At least one year of hotel work experience; prior reservations-environment experience is a plus.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Ability to work long hours and different shifts, with flexibility to cover shifts.
• Microsoft program knowledge, including Excel and Word, and intermediate computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail, customer-service focus, professional telephone manner, and strong communication skills.
• Administrative and organizational skills, a team-player approach, and a collegiate-level degree.
