Clean and maintain guest rooms to high standards so that rooms are tidy, well-stocked, and ready for guests.
Report maintenance issues and lost items promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and arrange guest rooms and floor areas according to Shangri-La and Traders standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities as required.
- Keep trolleys, cleaning supplies, and equipment maintained and organized.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
- Provide courteous and helpful service to guests.
Candidate qualifications
- 1–2 years of housekeeping experience and professional proficiency in English.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Good time-management, organizational, communication, and guest-service skills; able to work independently and with a team.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- A high school diploma or diploma in hospitality management is often required, as stated in the posting.
