Role overview

Service duties

• Provide professional, friendly, warm, and engaging guest service; take food and beverage orders and offer suggestions.
• Know outlet menus, beverage lists, promotions, menu items, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods; advise guests informatively.
• Maintain outstanding product quality and follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Understand shift-end reports and cash and non-cash procedures, including safe deposits and due backs.
• Attend pre-meal briefings and weekly and monthly meetings to improve the guest experience.
• Count linen at the end of the shift and arrive on time in a clean, pressed uniform and name badge.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; responsibility and reliability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• English fluency is required; Arabic speaking is an asset.
• Previous Micros experience is an asset but is not required; training is provided.

Physical aspects

• Frequent standing and walking during the shift; occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• The role also involves frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
