Role overview

The role owns demand, priorities, and capability backlogs for web platforms and supporting products.

Acts as Technical Product Owner, bridging business needs and development execution for a global strategic partner engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Own demand intake, priorities, and capability backlogs for web platforms and CMS.
  • Translate stakeholder and delivery-team needs into requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop business cases and prioritized roadmaps for platform capabilities.
  • Lead CMS and web-platform evaluations and migration decisions, including build-versus-buy and vendor strategy.
  • Partner with platform owners and the Web Platforms Engineer to drive platform improvements and technical quality.
  • Drive adoption of platform capabilities, including AI-enabled content authoring and workflows.
  • Define and report measures such as adoption, publishing efficiency, site performance, and content reuse.

Must-have qualifications

  • 8+ years in product management, product ownership, or web-platform management, including end-to-end ownership of an enterprise CMS or web platform.
  • Strong command of web platforms and traditional, headless, and composable CMS models.
  • Understanding of page builders, component libraries, templates, and design systems.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, GEO, accessibility, performance, analytics, and marketing technology integrations.
  • Familiarity with APIs, hosting and CDN, CI/CD, security, and privacy considerations.
  • Experience in Agile or SAFe environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications and working style

  • Regulated-environment experience is a plus, including medical, legal, or regulatory web-content review.
  • CSPO or SAFe POPM certification is a plus.
  • Takes accountability for outcomes and value, engages credibly with engineers on architecture and trade-offs, and influences across business, technology, and agency partners.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable when navigating complex organizational needs and platform decisions.
