Senior UI/UX & API Developer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop accessible, responsive web applications, reusable components, APIs, web services, microservices, and integration components.
• Integrate enterprise applications with databases and data services; implement application security; troubleshoot technical issues; and develop automated tests.
• Support Agile delivery, release readiness, production support, design and code reviews, mentoring, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Required qualifications

• At least eight years of professional software-development experience, including enterprise web applications and system integrations.
• Hands-on front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React, Angular, or comparable frameworks.
• API development using Java, C#, Python, or comparable technologies; relational database and SQL knowledge; Git, CI/CD, testing, secure coding, and application-security experience.
• Accessible enterprise or federal application experience, including Section 508; strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, mentoring, documentation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a listed or related technical discipline, or FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP certification.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one, as required.

Preferred experience

• Preferred experience includes federal logistics systems, legacy modernization, Figma or comparable UX tools, identity and access management, analytics platforms, Oracle or comparable databases, AWS, DevSecOps, RMF, and STIG/SRG requirements.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid role; remote work may be authorized according to program requirements.
• Must be available for required onsite meetings, user engagement, testing, demonstrations, release work, classified-system access, or other mission needs at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
