Senior Training and Institutional Capacity-Building Consultant

Project and assignment

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate institutional training and capacity-building programmes for health-sector institutions.
• Design and facilitate organisational behaviour workshops covering psychological safety, conflict management, professional ethics, and safeguarding.
• Develop pre- and post-assessment tools, measure training impact, and create interactive training materials and simple monitoring dashboards.
• Prepare strategic Master Training Plans identifying specialized expertise needs and coordinating delivery.
• Train administrative and operational skills, including performance management and KPIs, warehouse and inventory management, quality assurance, and digital archiving.
• Teach and use Microsoft Office and information-management fundamentals.

Qualifications and experience

• Master's degree in institutional development, HR management, education and curriculum design, public administration, or a closely related field; a relevant bachelor's degree is accepted with at least 10 years of directly relevant experience.
• At least 8 years designing and delivering institutional training and capacity-building programmes, including at least 4 years with public- or health-sector institutions.
• Experience designing and facilitating workshops on organisational behaviour topics and assessing training impact.
• Ability to prepare strategic Master Training Plans and coordinate specialized expertise delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and information-management fundamentals; advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, including interactive materials and simple monitoring dashboards.
• Practical experience training administrative and operational skills, including performance management and KPIs, warehouse and inventory management, quality assurance, and digital archiving.

Languages and preferred qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and good professional working English are mandatory.
• Experience with government or quasi-governmental health bodies is strongly preferred.
• Professional training or facilitation certification, such as Training of Trainers, is an asset.
