Act as a subject matter expert for credit card products, processes, and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Define and validate requirements across card systems, core banking, channels, payment networks, collections, finance, CRM, and digital platforms.
- Provide card domain expertise for API, event-driven, and middleware integration design.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and integration requirements.
- Support design reviews, impact assessments, data mapping, and interface specifications.
- Coordinate business users, vendors, architects, and development teams to resolve functional and technical issues.
- Support SIT, UAT, migration, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
- Ensure compliance with card business rules, operational processes, regulations, and industry practices.
- Help define future-state card servicing, customer journeys, and integration strategies.
Experience and knowledge
- Requires 8–12 years in credit card technology, card operations, card product management, or card transformation programs.
- Requires strong knowledge of the end-to-end card lifecycle, including origination, issuance, authorization, billing, payments, collections, limits, disputes, rewards, and fraud controls.
- Requires experience with VisionPLUS, PRIME, TSYS, Way4, PowerCARD, or an equivalent card management platform.
- Requires understanding of card integrations with core banking, digital channels, payment switches, Visa, Mastercard, finance, CRM, and enterprise data platforms.
- Requires experience with APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and modern integration patterns.
- Requires a good understanding of Oracle Database, SQL, and data analysis.
- Banking transformation, card modernization, or digital banking experience is highly desirable.
