About the role

Hands-on Blue Team engineering role specializing in continuous security validation and AI security testing.

Automates ongoing validation of defensive controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, AI systems, and model supply chains.

This is not a traditional SOC monitoring or standalone Red Team penetration-testing position.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate automated security testing for significant deployments across cloud, applications, AI systems, and model supply chains.
  • Test controls against prompt injection, jailbreaks, and emerging LLM attacks.
  • Track MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM threat intelligence and create repeatable test cases within seven days.
  • Manage and deduplicate findings through DefectDojo and attestation workflows.
  • Enforce remediation SLAs and validate security controls before redeployment approval.
  • Report findings, MTTR, pipeline gate pass rate, and prompt-injection block rate in Power BI dashboards.
  • Provide measurable control-effectiveness evidence against an approved threat coverage matrix.
  • Improve automated security validation and reduce dependence on periodic manual testing.

Required experience and skills

  • Experience in Blue Team security engineering, offensive security validation, or continuous adversarial testing.
  • Hands-on automated security testing and continuous control validation experience.
  • Experience with AWS Security Agent, Horizon3, or equivalent autonomous testing tools.
  • Exposure to AI red-teaming and LLM security tools such as Garak, PyRIT, Claude Security / Opus 4.x, or Codex.
  • Knowledge of OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, and AI/model supply-chain security risks.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, findings lifecycle management, and remediation SLAs.
  • Familiarity with Jira automation, security testing pipelines, and Power BI reporting.
  • Understanding of 1LoD / 2LoD and defensive validation versus independent red-team assurance.

Success measures

Continuously validate controls across significant deployments and incorporate emerging AI and cloud threats into test suites within seven days.

Prioritize and remediate findings against SLAs and support deployment approvals with measurable control-effectiveness evidence.

Make security assurance continuous, automated, and measurable rather than periodic and reactive.
