Job Summary
The main purpose of the job is to safely and effectively maintain the condition of the belt conveyor and rubber applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Essential duties, responsibilities and accountabilities
- 1. Ensure installation and maintenance of all conveyor belts are completed as per company standards.
- 2. Ensure installation, inspection and regular repairs and patch of damaged conveyor belts, drum lagging, brushes, belt scrappers and rubber sleeves are completed on time.
- 3. Keep log of the stock of consumables and tools of belt joining equipment.
- 4. Inform immediate superior from time to time of any deviations/abnormalities occurring within the area of responsibility and record them in the logbook for reference.
- 5. Maintain good housekeeping, cleanliness and orderliness within the area of responsibility as per company standards.
- 6. Comply with safety requirements and encourages safe working practices.
- 7. Adhere to the QMS system, OHSAS (18001), ISO 14001 (EMS) and HACCP / Food Safety System (22000) and SEDEX requirements.
