Role overview

Senior product role in RBC's Enterprise Architecture team supporting its AI-Powered Software Delivery initiative.

Own the vision, direction, and end-to-end roadmap for capabilities that modernize enterprise software delivery.

The role focuses on product strategy and outcomes rather than day-to-day execution and backlog ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Set product direction and maintain a prioritized, outcome-driven roadmap.
  • Partner with engineering and Enterprise Architecture on sequencing, feasibility, value, and trade-offs.
  • Align risk, compliance, delivery teams, and leadership around priorities.
  • Manage planning through launch and follow-up, including release planning, communications, user guides, and enablement.
  • Track NPS, adoption, engagement, and time-to-value; use research and insights to iterate.
  • Champion responsible, governed AI and balance delivery speed with control.

Must-have qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of product management experience, ideally at senior level, owning a product from strategy through launch and iteration.
  • Experience defining and delivering product vision and roadmaps in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong collaboration with engineering and technical stakeholders, including prioritization trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-alignment skills.
  • Data-informed experience defining and tracking metrics such as NPS, adoption, and engagement.
  • Experience with go-to-market planning, release management, and product communications or enablement.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and responsible AI considerations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Product certifications such as Pragmatic, SAFe POPM, or equivalent are nice to have.
  • Developer tools, platform products, or SDLC/delivery tooling experience is nice to have.
  • Financial services or regulated-industry product experience is nice to have.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture practices and cloud platforms is nice to have.

Benefits and work environment

  • Total Rewards Program includes bonuses, flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable.
  • Development coaching, training, collaborative work, challenging assignments, and flexible work/life balance options are described.

Role details

  • Based at RBC WaterPark Place, 88 Queens Quay West, Toronto.
  • Full-time, regular salaried role with 37.5 work hours per week.
