Senior Technical Manager (Insurance)
About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical underwriting function across General Insurance lines and Marine
- Provide technical expertise on complex risks and underwriting decisions
- Strong experience in reinsurance to oversee reinsurance placement and support structuring of large and complex risks
- Ensure underwriting practices align with company guidelines and profitability targets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Strong technical experience in General Lines and Marine insurance
- Solid experience in reinsurance and handling complex placements
- Previous experience in the UAE insurance market is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
