Senior System Engineer

About This Role

Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Engineer to lead the design, operation, and security of enterprise infrastructure systems. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft and hybrid environments, identity management, and infrastructure security, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide engineering teams and ensure service stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of enterprise infrastructure systems
• Design, implement, and optimize Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Services, and IAM solutions
• Manage and support Azure AD, ADFS, and Identity Governance systems
• Administer Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams environments
• Automate user lifecycle management, account provisioning, and password management processes
• Perform technical assessments, identify gaps, and execute remediation plans
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure timely closure of critical security risks
• Ensure all systems are patched, secure, and compliant with organizational standards
• Manage software licensing, renewals, and vendor coordination
• Lead incident, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA) for major outages
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles
• Required certifications:

• ITIL Foundation
• CCNA
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Strong experience with VMware virtualization environments
• Hands-on expertise in:

• Active Directory, Domain Controllers
• Exchange Server
• Microsoft 365 & Office 365
• Azure services
• SCCM & SCOM

• Strong experience in Windows Server administration
• Good knowledge of Linux system administration
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Advanced Arabic proficiency is required
