Senior Support Engineer in the IT department responsible for daily technical support operations.
The role combines operational and technical responsibilities with a focus on asset and network monitoring, data classification and governance, and Microsoft environment administration.
The position operates under the guidance and controls of the Security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily technical support operations, oversee workflow, and resolve escalated issues.
- Monitor and manage technical asset inventory and maintain accurate device and equipment records.
- Perform network monitoring, detect anomalies, and escalate unusual activity.
- Apply Security team policies and procedures.
- Carry out administration tasks across the Microsoft environment.
- Apply data classification policies and protect data according to sensitivity.
- Document procedures and prepare periodic reports.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
- Solid understanding of network monitoring and technical asset management.
- Experience administering a Microsoft environment.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to work within Security team controls.
- Knowledge of data classification and governance principles.
- Strong communication skills, ability to lead a team, and ability to perform under pressure.
Nice to Have
- CompTIA, Microsoft Certified, or similar certifications are desirable.
- Experience with monitoring tools is desirable.
- Familiarity with data governance tools is desirable.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000–9,000 per month.
