Design Architect

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, design proposals, presentations, layouts, elevations, sections, and details.
• Prepare drawings, mood boards, material palettes, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with interior, structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants.
• Participate in design development, value engineering, and design optimization.
• Review consultant and contractor submissions and provide design feedback.
• Conduct site visits and resolve architectural implementation issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and project standards.
• Support tender and construction documentation, material selection, client meetings, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Five to eight years of relevant architectural design experience.
• Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or luxury real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, space planning, building construction, drawings, detailing, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or other visualization tools is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC architectural standards and authority requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, presentation, project management, creative thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.

Compensation

• Pay starts at AED 10,000 per month.
