Senior Structural Engineer/Specialist- Buildings

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop structural solutions from feasibility through detailed design; independently deliver packages, lead engineers, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Define structural scope and prepare budget estimates for bids; plan tasks, resources, and schedules, maintain document control, and meet delivery targets.
• Monitor progress, identify technical and delivery risks, and flag resource needs; coordinate across disciplines and with BIM teams.
• Review and certify deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance; facilitate design discussions and communicate agreed decisions to project teams.

Requirements

• Master’s in Structural Engineering plus 7–15 years of structural design experience, or bachelor’s in Civil Engineering plus 10+ years of structural design experience.
• Extensive in-situ concrete and steel analysis and design experience; proficiency in structural design software such as Autodesk Robot, Strusoft FEM-D, IDEA StatiCa, ETABS, and SAFE.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes (EN), BS EN, ACI, and AISE standards; ability to deliver complex building designs independently and collaboratively.
• Project planning and communication skills, and willingness to learn new methods and tools.

Preferred experience

• Precast concrete and composite structures experience is preferred.
• Data center, renovation and refurbishment, or water-retaining structure project experience is an added advantage.
