Role overview

Planning and schedule delivery

• Prepare and assess detailed plans for project stages and facets, supporting timely project outcomes.
• Integrate programmes from delivery partners and stakeholders and take ownership of the integrated plans.
• Develop rolling four-week construction schedules, milestone tracking, and Level I–IV schedules.
• Develop and maintain work breakdown structures with Project Directors and Managers.
• Monitor schedules, critical paths, milestones, completion timelines, and the critical path network.
• Maintain Primavera P6 schedules against target dates and performance metrics.

Reporting, assurance, and coordination

• Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for programme, project, and client reviews.
• Report schedule performance, identify issues and improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze progress data to forecast issues and scope and keep schedules aligned with contract obligations.
• Assess delivery partner, contractor, and stakeholder schedules against contract scope and requirements.
• Prepare critical path analysis reports, bulk release and installation curves and analysis, milestone summaries, and Level 2–3 schedules.
• Help expedite engineering, procurement, and enabling works schedules; liaise with project teams, cost controllers, and clients to assess trends and impacts.

Experience and qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Significant multi-year experience in very large-scale construction and civil programmes, including roads, tunnels, and major utility relocation or outages.
• Advanced knowledge of quality systems, processes and procedures, and planning and scheduling tools.
• Extensive experience managing Primavera P6 EPPM, P6 Risk, TILOS, Acumen Fuse, or other planning software.
• Knowledge of project management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT and Copilot is mentioned for supporting clear, efficient communication.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, risk awareness, and attention to accuracy in planning documentation.
