Work location and schedule

• Project site-based role in Dubai, UAE.
• The stated schedule is 48 working hours per week, five days plus alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering work for reinforced-concrete and civil structures; review drawings, calculations, specifications, design changes, and construction methods.
• Supervise construction of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining structures, and other reinforced-concrete elements; guide engineering, inspection, and construction teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, PMC teams, contractors, and other disciplines; review and approve submissions and inspection documentation within assigned authority.
• Monitor site progress, quality, drawings compliance, and standards; investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee inspections of reinforcement, formwork, and concrete placement; track non-conformances, technical queries, clarifications, and corrective-action closure.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, quality procedures, and HSE requirements; contribute to planning, reporting, risk identification, and coordination meetings.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and support effective engineering and construction practices.

Qualifications and experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is mandatory; the degree certificate must be digitally attested under applicable UAE MOFA requirements.
• Requires 13 to 20+ years of relevant experience in concrete structures and civil structural engineering.
• Requires substantial aviation infrastructure, large-scale construction, and PMC project experience.
• Requires site supervision, structural inspections, technical coordination, quality management, senior-level technical reviews, and engineering-team leadership experience.
• Experience with tier-1 PMC or construction companies is preferred.
• Advanced practical knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural analysis, construction methods, and applicable engineering standards is required.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, decision-making, technical problem-solving, and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in relevant structural engineering software and project documentation systems.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, quality control, risk management, and site safety.
