Role overview

BIM review and coordination

• Lead review, coordination, and validation of contractor architectural BIM deliverables against the BEP, EIR, and BIM standards.
• Check models, model content, data structures, and documentation for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Review plans, elevations, sections, layouts, façades, doors, windows, finishes, and other architectural elements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve clashes, interfaces, and design discrepancies.
• Verify deliverables against approved design drawings, specifications, standards, codes, and regulations.
• Respond to technical BIM queries and escalate complex issues to the Resident Engineer or BIM Manager.

Project delivery and mentoring

• Coordinate and document weekly BIM review meetings; track actions, decisions, issues, and outstanding clashes to resolution.
• Monitor the quality and timely submission of models, shop drawings, and associated project documentation.
• Assist with BIM workflows, tools, and digital delivery processes.
• Mentor BIM Coordinators and site team members in architectural BIM coordination.
• Serve as the primary on-site BIM contact for project stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline and at least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong architectural BIM coordination and model-review experience on building, infrastructure, or airport projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Recognized BIM certification, such as BSI or BRE, or equivalent; Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent Autodesk certification.
• Knowledge of architectural design, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, BIM QA, and model validation.
• Understanding of BEPs, EIRs, BIM standards, and digital delivery procedures.
• Communication, coordination, reporting, stakeholder-management, and large-project contractor-management experience.

Additional software

• Knowledge of Dynamo, Civil 3D, and Bentley applications is advantageous.
