The Senior Storekeeper manages warehouse activities, tracks raw aluminum and finished goods, ensures safety compliance, and leads a team of storekeepers to maintain optimal stock levels for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- : Track raw aluminum billets, coils, extrusions, dies, and spare parts.
- Stock Control
- : Maintain accurate records using ERP software like SAP or Oracle.
- Material Handling
- : Oversee safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes for heavy loads.
- Quality Inspection
- : Inspect incoming raw materials for correct grade, thickness, and dimensions.
- Production Support
- : Issue materials to casting, extrusion, or powder coating departments on time.
• Safety & Compliance
- : Enforce 5S methodologies and strict metal warehouse safety standards.
- Team Leadership
- : Supervise, train, and schedule junior warehouse staff and loaders.
- Scrap Management
- : Monitor and record aluminum scrap and dross for recycling processes.
