Job Purpose

Clinical Assessment & Treatment

• Independently assess and evaluate patients using appropriate clinical techniques and assessment tools.
• Develop functional diagnoses, treatment plans, and rehabilitation goals based on patient need
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation procedures within the scope of practice and professional competency.

Case Management

• Manage a caseload of complex patients efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all clinical decisions consider appropriate indications, contraindications, and patient safety requirements
• Deliver evidence-based care that supports optimal rehabilitation outcomes

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and professional standards
• Complete the required statistical reports and activity record
• Prepare patient progress reports, medical necessity letters, and other clinical documentation when required

Communication & Collaboration

• Liaise effectively with referring physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and caregivers
• Act as a clinical resource and provide professional guidance within the speciality
• Promote collaborative working practices to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant Therapy Discipline from an accredited institution
• Professional licensure/registration as required by local regulatory authorities
• Relevant post-qualification clinical experience in the speciality area.
