Job Description

Responsibilities

• Work and Support to develop, maintain and drive the Cruise Co Strategy.
• In Coordination with other divisions, Develop and monitor short to medium term business growth initiatives.
• Identify and manage key performance enhancements projects in Cruise Co.
• Provides guidance/support to Finance partners regarding overall Cruise business performance.
• Deliver quality reporting and Business performance Reviews by Overseeing the maintenance and further development of robust monthly reporting packages that provide timely and reliable financial and operational information for internal decision-making processes, including analytics that accompany the financial reports.
• Support Cruise Co leadership team and Board with overall understanding of performance including business drivers and KPI’s for the Unit.
• Participation in the BOD meetings is expected where the lead is to be taken on presenting Cruise Co’s financials
• Support Cruise Co Executive Team with the execution of presentations
• Volume and Sales analysis including reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare forecasts working collaboratively with business leaders for review with Senior Management.
• Supports key analytics for business development in new Cruise projects.
• Lead implementation of Finance function in new/international locations as and when they arise.
• Interface directly with the Executive team to provide financial planning and analysis service and support.
• Act as financial lead for annual budget process / cycle.
• Be the lead for cost optimization and new revenue initiatives for the Cruise, PMF and community ports and capture those in the Wave platform.

Qualifications

• Professional Certification such as CPA/CMA/ACCA/CA.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced experience with financial modelling, including the ability to develop scenarios and sensitivity analysis using tools such as VBA,Macros etc.
• Experience in creating transparency of information through analytics, and data visualization methodologies and tools.
• Display an agile mindset to accommodate a dynamic environment.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional Commercial, Finance and Operations teams.
• Excellent command of English languages. Arabic is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 Years experience.
• Preferred with 5 Years experience in Ports / Cruise / Shipping business out of which a minimum of 3 years in Financial Analysis /Modeling.
• Prior Financial Planning & Analysis experience is a must including building complex financial models.
• Highly proficient in Excel/advance formulae; proficient in PowerPoint.
• Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on being agile to meet the growing and changing needs of stakeholders across the organization.
• Highly organized and able to self-prioritize with multiple conflicting deadlines.
• A creative problem-solver, accurate with high level of attention to details.
• Visibility to the Board of Directors and as such requires a high degree proficiency and polish in both written and verbal presentations.
