Senior Specialist - Civil Inspections
About This Role
Job Description To carry out the required civil engineering inspections for all projects within ADPorts as part of building permit's function.
Responsibilities Core Responsibilities:
- Reviewing Civil plans, method statements and Civil received through MEPS system.
- Preparing daily and weekly tracker LOGs.
- Conducting site Civil inspections on different industrial under construction projects in Developers’ Services Hub,ICAD, Khalifa Port and Zayed Port industrial areas on daily basis.
- Advice contractors and consultants on company/OSHAD Civil requirements to ensure contractor & Consultants commitment and compliance is in line with company site specific Civil requirements.
- To monitor and analyze Civil performance, develop Civil culture and conduct internal Civil /quality inspections/audits& in-house Training.
- Closely monitor site activities and site conditions on daily basis to find out Civil lapses of contractor and report to the concerned consultant and Contractor for corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with consultant /contractor and investigate accident cases with AD Ports Group Civil team to prepare final accident investigation report.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with project management control team including consultant and contractor regarding compliance of Civil requirements in construction site.
- Participate in welfare and incentive schemes organized by the contractor.
Qualifications Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational civil Engineer
- OSHAD OSH certificate
- IMS Awareness Session for ISO 9001:2015 &ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018
- Environmental Management System. Internal Audit (ISO 14001:2015)
- Quality Management System. Internal Audit (ISO 9001:2015)
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System IA (OHSAS 18001:2007)
- IOSH Managing Safety
- OSHA Construction Safety
- Basic Fire Fighting Basic First Aid
Language Skills:
- English, Arabic
Years of Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in construction industry as Civil Engineer professional
