Assistant Manager - Strategy

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and opportunities in the residential development portfolio, optimizing portfolio variety and rollout based on market analysis.
• Create comprehensive development strategies on target customer segments, product differentiation and adaptation, and change management based on market movements and trends.
• Develop and refine business models for the development department, scrutinizing and setting fees, scopes of work, developer selection, and reviewing highest best-use studies.
• Create presentations for management communicating team and departmental information.
• Analyze end-to-end residential development processes to identify efficiencies and optimization opportunities.
• Represent the company with external consultants, funds, developers, and end users.
• Assess and evaluate different investment structures.
• Draw roadmaps analyzing requirements, processes, and procedures relating to the real estate field, including setting up real estate development and investment entities and interfacing with relevant authorities.
• Create business cases for residential development opportunities.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of professional experience with a background in strategy consulting and real estate investment/development.
• Minimum of 2 years in consulting.
• Additional years in relevant roles (real estate development, investment, or strategy preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's degree in relevant field advantageous.
• Proven experience in real estate investment analysis, market assessment, development, and/or RE strategy.
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to evaluate complex investment structures.
• Experience managing stakeholders across public and private sectors.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
